- Description
- The United States Coast Guard (USCG) intends to issue a sole source Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to Kokatat Water Sportwear Inc., to procure the Coast Guard - All Purpose - Personal Protective Ensemble (CG-AP-PPE) chemical biological (CB) over-garments that provide increased protection for CG personnel. The ensemble will be fabricated using proven selectively permeable material (SPM) suitable for use in a maritime environment. The CG-AP-PPE over-garment will consist of an over-garment with a choice of two (2) neck designs and a user manual to be used in CB threat environments. The two CG-AP-PPE neck designs are the over-garment with an extended hood design and the over-garment with a collar design and will be available in two (2) color schemes. The design and patterns for these garments are Government owned by U.S. Special Operations Command. The Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract will consist of a five, one-year ordering periods. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement, in writing or via email no later than 24 July 2008, to marlecia.m.newby@uscg.mil or Sandra.A.Queen@uscg.mil. Written responses to this notice shall contain sufficient documentation to establish their capability to fulfill this requirement. Written responses to this notice shall be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this requirement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
