- The US Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District, intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price supply contract to furnish and install two rolling overhead steel doors. The requirement consists of removal and disposal the two existing doors, operators, control systems, chains, conduit, wiring, etc., and replacing them with all new equipment. The new equipment shall meet the specified requirements. This announcement is a synopsis only. The details of the project will be issued in a solicitation package. This solicitation is a small business set-aside; NAICS code is 332321; and the size standard is 500 employees. This solicitation package will be issued in electronic format at FedBizOpps: http://www.fedbizopps.gov on or about 9 July 2008 with quotes due on or about 15 July at 1100 hrs PST. It is important to note, in order to conduct business with the Department of Defense; the contractor must be registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR) by accessing website http://www.ccr.gov/ free of charge. Contract completion date shall be eight weeks from date of award.
