- Description
- Idaho Panhandle National Forests, Boulder Culvert Repair St Joe Ranger District, Shoshone County, Idaho. The project is to excavate and re-install an existing 10 gauge, galvanized 168 inch x 116 inch x 66 feet culvert. The existing culvert consists of 3 sections bolted together inside the pipe. The existing culvert was not installed deep enough and has become a fish passage barrier. This project will lower the invert elevation 2.5 foot and backfill inside the culvert to simulate the natural stream channel. Blasting required to re-install the culvert to the correct elevation. Price range between $25,000 and $100,000. This project is set-aside for Emerging Small Business. Estimated start work August 2008 and complete by Oct 31, 2008 or August 2009 and complete by October 31, 2009.
