- The purpose of this modification is to remove FAR Clause FAR 25.001 Buy American Act from the solicitation. The purpose of this modification is to inform vendors that we will be accepting quotes for the equivalent to the Blauer Model #233R Reversible Rain Jacket. The jacket should include badge and microphone tabs on both sides of the jacket, a hood, pockets and must also be breathable material. The jacket must also meet all of the specifications presented in the original Solicitation #147140. Vendors submitting an alternate coat other than the Blauer Model #233 Reversible Rain Jacket must submit a sample. The sample should be sent to the attention of Keturah Tate at Communications Center (PRO) 245 Murray Lane, SW, Bldg. T-5 Washington, DC 20223. Also, please note the new due date Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at 12:00pm.
