Description
The magnitude of this requirement in terms of PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTECS: Auto Tour Rote improvements generally consisting of the reclaiming of asphalt pavement, bituminous paving, three panel kiosk demolition, grading, landscape improvements, parking area improvements, two panel and three panel kiosk construction, concrete plaza and sidewalk construction, solar powered light, gate construction, gate sand blasting and painting, parking lot demolition, culvert replacement, bituminous parking lot construction, wood and recycled plastic overlook construction, signage and striping, fence demolition, fishing pier and wood/recycled plastic boardwalk construction, pull off area demolition, tree removal, bituminous trail construction, restroom renovations, walking trail improvements, wood/recycled plastic river viewing overlook and benches. The work for the Low Flow Area improvements generally consists of the reclaiming of asphalt pavement, bituminous paving, two panel kiosk construction, grading, landscape improvements, rain garden and storm sewer construction, parking area improvements, concrete plaza and sidewalk construction, parking lot demolition, culvert replacement, wood/recycled plastic fishing dock and bench, signage and striping and restroom renovations. There are seven additive items: 1) refurbish existing auto tour restroom building, 2) auto tour overlook, 3) solar powered light, 4) low flow area improvements, 5) solar power and electric equipment for entry gate, 6) fishing pond dock and elevated boardwalk, and 7) crushed granite for rock outcrop trail. ESTIMATED PRICE RANGE: Between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. NAICS code is 237310, Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction, Size Standard of $31.0M. The award will be issued pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, so it is NOT set-aside for small business. Tentative dates: Issue Invitation for Bid on July 24, 2008; opening bids on August 25, 2008; and completing contract performance 240 days after notice to proceed.
