Description

The U.S. Geological Survey intends to make a non-competitive award to Ametek, Inc. in Newark, Deleware for one ta 5000R HZ-Reduction Gas Detector Analyzer with syringe kit, and data collection software to be delivered to USGS National Center in Reston, Virginia by 10/15/2008. There are no options associated with this requirement. Ametek, Inc. is the only known source for this requirement because they are the only known source for a hydrogen and carbon monoxide analyzer with detection capabilities down to 3 parts per billion (ppb) for Hydrogen and Carbon Monoxide with on-board analysis electronics. In accordance with FAR 5.207, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency, however, THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Government intends to award this requirement noncompetitively IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1).
