- The Contracts Department, Code 111, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme, (NSWC PHD), California, is issuing this combined synopsis/solicitation for a SOLE SOURCE procurement of commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a separate written solicitation will not be issued. The Government intends to solicit only one quote as a sole source procurement under authority of FAR 6.302. This agency has a requirement to procure the following from Virginia Panel Corporation, Waynesboro, Virginia: 50 each PCB Adapter, Receiver, TriPaddle, 96 position to PCB-mounted 1x96 Male DIN 41612 Connector P/N 510104139; and 25 each, Module Receiver 96-96 CON w/res-ruse, P/N 510104170. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items (Jan 2006), applies to this acquisition and there are no addenda to the provision. Offeror must include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3 (Alt I) Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items (Mar 2005), which can be found at http://farsite.hil.af.mil/ or http://www.arnet.gov/. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by submitting a quote. Quotes received before the closing date of this combined synopsis/solicitation will be considered by the Government. This synopsis/solicitaton and its incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-16. The NAICS Code is 334418 and the size standard is 500 for this procurement. FOB Destination pricing only. Provide CAGE code, DUNS and Federal Tax ID Numbers with offer. Proposals are to be emailed to barbara.contreras@navy.mil and are due by close of business 21 July 2008. No contract will be awarded under this solicitation at greater than fair and reasonable prices
