Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY TO PREQUALIFY VENDORS. THERE IS NOT A SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. THIS IS NOT A FORMAL REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). The United States Senate Office of the Sergeant at Arms (SAA) requires a transportation engineering and planning design services for a study of Senate parking. The SAA will use the transportation engineering and planning study to assist the Senate Parking Office in creating additional parking for Senate permit holders, and to improve accessibility to and egress from street and lot parking on the Capitol grounds. Requirements: The response to this sources sought notice shall specifically address the following: Corporate Overview Project Management Transportation Engineering & Planning Design Services Quality Assurance Failure to provide information on items 1 through 4 above will result in disqualification of the vendor from consideration. Your response to each requirement must a include paragraph numbering identifiable to items listed above. In addition, submissions must include: 1) Past performance: A minimum of three past performance references. The vendor must have relevant experience within the last three years. Provide a brief synopsis of work performed relevant to the requirements listed above. The r esponse must include complete and current contact information of past customers. Experience and past performance will be evaluated on the basis of its breadth and depth, its similarity to the SAA project as well as the satisfaction of clients and overall quality of services represented by the projects described. (2) Computer capabilities - AutoCAD 2000 system; Microsoft Word for Windows, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project. (3 ) Organizational information including your Dun and Bradstreet number and point of contact with telephone, fax, and e-mail address. After receipt and review of the responses to this SSN, the SAA intends to issue a solicitation. The information contained in this notice will be the only information provided by the Senate during the Sources Sought process. Only vendors deemed qualified will be permitted to submit proposals. If suitable responses are received from qualified sources, the SAA anticipates release of a solicitation during early August 2008. Neither the SAA nor the Senate will be responsible for any costs for the preparation of responses to this request. INSTRUCTIONS: Responses to this are due to the POC no later than July 28, 2008, at Noon EDT and shall be submitted electronically via email only to the attention of Kathleen M. Haddow at acquisitions@saa.senate.gov. The subject line of the email message shall be: SSN 2008-S-045. No other method of transmittal will be accepted. The response shall not exceed fifteen (15) pages. Unnecessarily elaborate submissions are discouraged. Pages over the page limitation may be discarded. Access by the SAA to information in any files attached to the response is the responsibility of the submitting party. Neither the SAA nor the Senate is responsible for any failure to access vendor information. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES THE ENTIRE SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE AND IS THE ONLY INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THE SDCC OR SENATE. ANY REQUESTS FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION WILL NOT BE HONORED.
