Description
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has a requirement for Security Equipment Integration and Evaluation Services. The contractor will be responsible for supporting integration projects for common carriers, ports and terminals associated with all means of transportation and commerce as well as law enforcement and governmental operations. Responsibilities will include installation, deployment as well as evaluation and testing of security equipment at geographically dispersed airports, ports, terminals, cargo facilities and other locations within the United States and its territories. The contractor must be capable to perform at multiple sites simultaneous. This notice is not a request for competitive price proposals. Offerors are responsible for checking the FedBizOpps website for any update(s) to this Notice. The Government is not responsible for any loss of Internet connectivity or for an offeror's inability to access the document posted at the referenced website. To obtain automatic notifications of updates to this notice, you MUST log into FedBizOpps.gov and add the notice to your Watchlist. The purpose of the notice is provide an opportunity for industry to review and understand the Transportation Security Administration’s requirements and to provide comment on feedback on various portions of the statement of work and attached sample task. Interested parties are encouraged to submit comments or questions. Input regarding which tasks can be fixed priced is encouraged. The Transportation Security Administration believes that industry feedback is important and will result in enhanced competition. All comments and suggestions received on this notice will be evaluated and utilized as applicable, in the preparation of the final statement of work and RFP. Please provide any comments or suggestions no later than 12:00pm Tuesday, July 22, 2008.
