- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation issued by the Idaho Office,Department of Energy, Idaho Falls, Idaho prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Receipt of quotes no later than August 01, 2008 at 4:00 PM MST is required. This solicitation is being issued as a full and open competition with no restrictions in regard to business size standard. The solicitation/synopsis reference number is DE-AP07-08ID01239 and is being issued as a request for quotation. The NAICS code is 334516. Furnish all materials, supplies and labor necessary to provide 1 each, In Vivo Gamma Spectroscopy System in accordance with the specifications attached in this notice. The Department of Energy anticipates award of a firm-fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation on or about 14 August, 2008 to the offeror that is most advantageous to the Government. Following are the applicable provisions and contract clauses incorporated by reference: FAR 52.212-1 through FAR 52.212-5, FAR 52.222-3, FAR 52.222-19, FAR 52.222-21, FAR 52.222-26, FAR 52.222-35 through FAR 52.222-37, FAR 52.232-33, FAR 52.232-37, and FAR 52.204-7. FAR clauses are available in full text at http://www.arnet.gov/far/. Offerors are cautioned to review these clauses prior to submitting an offer against this solicitation. In order to be considered for, or receive an award, vendors MUST be registered at http://www.ccr.gov, and at htpps://orca.bpn.gov/, before a purchase order is issued. You will be required to provide your companies DUNS number (available from Dun and Bradstreet at 1-888-546-0024) and your Federal Tax Identification Number (TIN). The government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation without notice. Offers may be submitted on company letterhead and must include, at a minimum, individual pricing for each requirement, total lump sum price, prompt payment terms, warranty terms, contract remittance address, DUNS number, Federal Tax Identification number, Name, Address and Phone number of your point of contact.
