- Installation Contracting Command, Regional Contracting Center-Fort Bragg, NC (RCC-FB), intends to award a fixed price contract under procedures of FAR Part 14, Sealed Bidding for packing/ containerization and drayage of personal property services in the vicinity of Fort Campbell, KY. Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, facilities, supplies, services and materials for the packing, unpacking, containerization, drayage and storage of household goods and personal property for military members and civilian employees at Fort Campbell, KY. The requirement consists of outbound and inbound household goods, outbound and inbound unaccompanied baggage, intra-city and intra-area movement. Contractors that bid on these services must have the rights or tenders to service the specific zones (TN-TN, KY-KY). Quantities stated in the solicitation are estimated. The requirement will be set-aside 100% for small business concerns. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 488991 and the small business size standard is $23.5M. A period of performance of a 3-month base period plus four (4) 12-month options is anticipated. It is a requirement that all contractors doing business with the Department of Defense be registered with CCR (the website may be accessed on the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. The entire solicitation will be issued electronically at the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website: https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi (paper copies will not be available). The solicitation, attachments and specifications will only be available by downloading the document from the ASFI website. All prospective bidders are responsible for obtaining any amendments or any other information from the ASFI website. It is therefore the contractors responsibility to check the website frequently/daily for the solicitation and any posted changes to the solicitation. When issued, the solicitation will specify the actual date and time for proposal receipt. No telephone request will be honored. The anticipated posting of the IFB is on or around 17 July 2008.
