- SOURCES SOUGHT- This is Not A Request for Proposals. The Contracting Center of Excellence (CCE) on behalf of the US Army Center of Military History (USACMH), is conducting a market survey in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10.001 to determine the extent of Small Business participation and capability to conduct, record, and transcribe oral history interviews that can be used to write a scholarly, objective, and professional history of the Nisei soldiers in the U.S. Army Military Intelligence Service (MIS) during the post-World War II occupation of Japan, 1945 1954. CCE is seeking Capabilities Statements from Small Businesses only. The NAICS code is 561410; size standard is $6.5M. Capability Statements should specify services that can be provided and include your resource capabilities. Capability package should demonstrate the contractors ability to perform the specific tasks that are being requested in the Performance Work Statement. The type of contract will be a Firm Fixed Price contract with a proposed period of performance for One (1) Base Year with Two (2) Option Years for a total of Three (3) years. The Performance Work Statement: The PWS must be retrieved and downloaded from CCEs homepage at http://cce.hqda.pentagon.mil/home/index.asp. Once to the site, please click CCE Business Opportunities, followed by RFPs, then select the desired RFP and click the Process button. Capability Statements must include a brief description of the organizations experience as related to this type of work and the organizations capability to provide the necessary materials (cables). Hard copies of Capability Statements are not acceptable. Only electronically submitted Capability Statements will be accepted. The Government shall have the right to demand and receive positive proof of compliance with any and all the foregoing requirements. All responsible sources are invited, at no cost to the Government to provide technical information for a capability evaluation. Individual responses to this request for information that may contain proprietary information must be marked accordingly. Such information will not be released outside the Government. The Government may revise its acquisition strategy and solicitation requirements based upon the industry response. The purpose of the request for information is to identify Small Businesses with resources and capabilities to support this requirement. This Sources Sought/Market Research shall not be construed as a Request for Proposal. The Government does not intend to award a contract from the results of this Sources Sought. There is no solicitation document. The Government shall not be liable for, or suffer any consequential damages for any technical information identified (e.g., limited and/or restricted rights).
