- NASA/KSC has a requirement for a higher powered amplifier, antenna and dualdirectional couplers. 1-(QTY 1 EA) High power Biconical antenna: A broad frequency and high input powerBiconical Antenna for use in susceptibility testing. Minimum requirements are: frequencyrange 20MH to 300 MHZ, impedance 50 Ohm VSWR 1.9:1 and Minimum connector N(F). 2-(QTY 1 EA) Passive Rod E-Filed Antenna: A passive broadband electric field monopoletransmitting antenna for use in susceptibility testing. Minimum requirement are: frequency range 1KHz to 30MHz, power 300 watts, impedance 50 Ohm and connector N(F). 3-(QTY 1 EA) RF E-Field Probe: An accurate Electronic Field Probe for use in remotemonitoring and it has to be compatible with the AR Isotropic Field Monitor FM2000.Minimum requirements are: Frequency range 10 KHz to 1GHz, Dynamic range 1- 300 V/m,Frequency response 0.5 dB (10 kHz-250 MHz) 1.0 dB (250 Mhz-1GHz), Bus Sample rate 26samples per second, Linearity 0.5 dB Full Scale, Accuracy 0.5 dB, overload Withstand1000V/m, Battery 3.6Vdc 1400 mA-Hour Rechargeable NiCAD, Battery charger 110/200 Vac andoptical connection Standard FSMA. This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared inaccordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additionalinformation included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the onlysolicitation, which is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); quotes are beingrequested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Offerors are required to usethe On-Line RFQ system to submit their quote. The On-line RFQ system is linked above orit may be accessed at http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=C&pin=76. The information required by FAR Subpart 12.6 is included in the on-line RFQ.The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the SimplifiedAcquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13.Questions regarding this acquisition must be submitted in writing tomaria.m.figueroa@nasa.gov no later than July 25, 2008.It is the quoter's responsibilityto monitor this site for the release of amendments (if any).
