- Description
- The NETCOM/9th Signal Command (Army) has a requirement for nonpersonal services for local telephone exchange services for Letterykenny Army Depot, PA. The proposed contract is for a base year with four one-year options. The local exchange services provider, certified by the state of New York, shall provide local commercial communications service for Watervliet Arsenal, which shall include, as a minimum but not limited to, local access for commercial subscriber lines, digital access trunks, local exchange digital (ISDN PRI) trunks, transport channels, and directory number and number portability. All responsible sources may submit an offer that shall be considered. Sources responding to this requirement must indicate in writing, whether they are a large, small, disadvantaged and /or women-owned business. For this acquisition, a concern will be considered small under SIC code 4813 with size standard of 1500 employees NAICS 517110. This requirement shall be a commercial, fixed price type contract. Solicitation is anticipated to be released on or about 14 July 2008. The solicitation can be viewed and downloaded from the Army Single Face to Industry(ASFI) Acquisition Business Website. The Government will conduct a preproposal conference and site visit on 24 July 2008 at Letterkenny AD, at 09:00 in Bldg 10. It is recommended that prospective offerors attend this conference. The conference will be from 09:00 10:00 PM (approximately) and will be followed by a site visit from 10:00 11:00 PM. Offerors planning to attend are required to notify the Contracting Officer listed below, in writing, of all attendees names (not to exceed three per company, prior to 22 July 2008. An e-mail response to duane.markham@us.army.mil is acceptable. Questions prior to the conference must be received before 22 July 2008. Questions generated as a result of the preproposal conference must be sent to duane.markham@us.army.mil, by 6 Aug 2008.
