- This announcement is notcie of intent to award a sole source purchase order to Dailey & Wells, Inc. 3440 E. Houston St., San Antonio, TX, 78219. In accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1, the Government intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Dailey & Wells for the purchase and installation of a Bi-Directional Amplifier (BDA) to augment the current Land Mobile Radio System (LMR) in place at Fort Hood. The system was manufactured, configured and installed by Dailey & Wells and they are responsible for installation, configuration, and maintenance for the entire Fort Hood Land Mobile Radio system. This acquisition will be a firm fixed price requirements contract conducted utilizing procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13. The delivery date will be 45 days after receipt of order. The NAICS code is 334220 and the applicable small business size standard is 750 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals, however interested persons may identify their interest and capability by responding within 15 days after date of electronic publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
