- This notice is being publicized in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.101 requiring Contracting Officers to disseminate information on proposed contract actions expected to exceed $25,000.00. In accordance with FAR 13.104 Promoting Competition, The Drug Enforcement Administration solicited bids from vendors for the following Cisco components. Items from 1 through 10 are in the quantity of 4 each : (1) ASA5540-BUN-K9: Cisco ASA 5540 Appliance W/SW, 500 VPN Peers, 4GE+1FE, 3DES/AES; (2) CAB-AC: Cisco AC Power Cord, US; (3) SF-ASA-8.0 K8: Cisco ASA 5500 Series Software V8.0; (4) SSM-4GE: Cisco ASA 5500/IPS 4200 4-Port Gigabit Ethernet SSM (RJ-45+SFP); (5) ASA-VPN-CLNT-K9: Cisco VPN Client Software (Windows, Solaris, Linux, Mac); (6) ASA5540-VPN-PR: Cisco ASA 5540 VPN Premium 5000 Peer License; (7) ASA5500-ENCR-K9: Cisco ASA 5500 Strong Encryption License (3DES/AES); (8) ASA-180W-PWR-AC: Cisco ASA 180W AC Power Supply; (9) ASA-ANYCONN-CSD-K9: Cisco ASA 5500 Anyconnect Client + Cisco Security Desktop Software; (10) CON-SNT-AS4BUNK9: Smartnet 8X5XNBD ASA5540 W500 VPN PRS, 4GE + 1FE, 3DES/AES. Items from 15 through 25 are in the quantity of 1 each: (15) ASA5505-SEC-BUN-K9: Cisco ASA 5505 SEC Plus Appliance with SW, UL Users, HA, 3DES/AES; (16) CAB-AC-C5: Cisco AC Power Cord, Type C5, US; (17) SF-ASA5505-8.0-K8: Cisco ASA 5500 Series Software V8.0 for ASA 5505; (18) ASA5500-SSL-25: ASA 5500 SSL VPN 25 User License; (19) ASA5505-SW-UL: Cisco ASA 5505 Unlimited User (UL) Software License; (20) ASA5505-SEC-PL: Cisco ASA 5505 Security Plus License W/HA, DMZ, VLANS + CONNS; (21) ASA5500-ENCR-K9: Cisco ASA 5500 Strong Encryption License (3DES/AES); (22) ASA5505-PWR-AC: Cisco ASA 5505 Spare AC Power Supply Adapter; (23) SSC-Blank: Cisco ASA 5505 SSC Blank Slot Cover; (24) ASA-ANYCONN-CSD-K9: Cisco ASA 5500 Anyconnect Client + Cisco Security Desktop Software; (25) CON-SNT-AS5SBK9: Smartnet 8X5XNBD ASA5505-SEC-BUN-K9. Force3, Inc. provided the lowest quote in the amount of $106,573.14 and was accepted. The acquisition will be conducted under the test program described in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Subpart 13.5. As a result the DEA will provide a purchase order to Force3, Inc. in the amount of $106,573.14. If there are any concerns with regard to DEA's intent please contact Ghazala Shabnam. Closing date is July 21, 2008 at 12:00 PM EST.
