- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared under the authority of FAR 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items and in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The combined synopsis/solicitation number is W91CRB08T0112 Requirement is for the following blast resistant/proof glass, all in 14x14 squares, as follows: (800) Each 25mm Borofloat, (200) Each 19mm Borofloat, (100) Each 9mm Borofloat, (200) Each10mm Starphire, (500) Each 19mm Starphire, (200) Each 6mm Starphire, (400) Each 1 inch Lime Glass, (100) Each 1 inch thick Pyrex polished, (100) Each 1 thick polished Borofloat. This requirement is in support of the Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type contract. Contractors are requested to provide FOB Destination pricing for the quantities indicated as well as a delivery schedule. The ship to destination is Aberdeen Proving Ground Maryland, 21005. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. This contract will be awarded on an all or nothing basis. An offeror shall complete only paragraph (j) of 52.212-3 if the offeror has completed the annual representations and certificates electronically at http://orca.bpn.gov. If an offeror has not completed the annual representations and certifications electronically at the ORCA website, the offeror shall complete only paragraphs (b) through (i) of this provision and provide it with offers. The clause at 52.204-7, Central Contractor Registration; 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
