Description

It is the intent of the General Services Administration to issue a solicitation (Request for Quotation) for a construction award to replace exterior faucets at the US Post Office/Federal Building, 904 W. Riverside Ave, Spokane, WA, 99201. See Attached Request for Quotation GS-10P-08-XC-P-0091. All work shall be in strict accordance with the Scope of Work and Associated drawing. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220. See attached Scope of Work and Associated drawing for requirement details (located within solicitation package). Contractor personnel are required to obtain GSA security clearances, which require background checks. Contractors must be registered and active in CCR (Https://www.ccr.gov) in order to be considered for award. Work associated with this request is subject to the U.S. Department of Labor, General Wage Decision for Washington (number WA080007, Modification Number 5 Dated 07/04/2008)(see solicitation for full wage decision). Site visits prior to submitting a quotation is highly encouraged. The project manager is Mr. James Appleton, GSA Assistant Property Manager. There is a one time only site visit scheduled for Thursday, July 31, 2008 at 10:00 PM Pacific Time. Participants will meet at the Thomas S. Foley Federal Building, 920 W. Riverside Ave, Spokane, WA 99201 in the main lobby. Participants will meet with the project manage Mr. Appleton. The Order of Magnitude for this Construction project is less than $25,000.00. Performance period is Fourteen (14) calendars days from issuance of official “Notice to Proceed”. The Government reserves the right to request a cost/price breakdown in sufficient detail to determine cost/price reasonableness in comparison to the Government estimate after receipt of offers. The Government reserves the right to negotiate with offerors after receipt of offers. This procurement is being set-aside for small businesses, all responsible responsive sources submitting an offer will be considered. No Bonding is required. Certificate of Liability Insurance is required.
