Description
CSC Applied Technologies LLC (CSC) is contemplating the issue of solicitation IFB119B, of XTLF 08-1011R/C Repair Small Arms, and Construct Enclosures. The solicitation will have a 60 day acceptance period from receipt of offers. Offerors should consider the impact to their bonding capacity when considering bidding on this solicitation. Funds are not currently available for the contemplated solicitation and have not been promised or guaranteed. There shall be no legal liability on the part of the Government or CSC should funding not be provided. In the absence of funding no contract will result. The construction (C) portion of the project would consist of the construction to enclose a room of approximately 200 square feet for the purpose of a weapons cleaning facility including concrete floor; exterior walk; building of wood stud and exterior insulation finish system walls and wood roof framing as well as metal roofing; hollow metal doors and frames; wood stud and gypsum board partitions; vinyl composition tile; gypsum board ceilings; plastic laminate cabinets with stainless steel countertops; mechanical, plumbing, electrical and all work in accordance with the plans and specifications to provide a complete project. The repair (R) portion would consist of removal of existing firing range baffles and replacement with new baffles, baffle supporting structure and walls, gravel drive, mechanical, plumbing, electrical and all work in accordance with the plans and specifications to provide a complete project. The Bid Schedule will also include repair unfunded options (UO) as follows UO # 1: Provide and install an auger system to carry all bullets and fragments to a central collection location. Auger system shall be compatible with Action Target's existing bullet catch. UO #2: Provide rubber facing for baffles in lieu of plywood UO #3: Provide and install a complete gas-fired infra-red heating system in lieu of gas-fired unit heater in the apparatus room. Refer to Sheets P1, M1, M3, E2, E3, and E4 and appropriate Sections of the Specifications which may or may not be considered depending on costs and available funds that may be provided. Bid Opening, September 4, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. to be held at Building 200 Conference Room 123. Both above dates are subject to change. Please verify prior to dates shown to assure the scheduled events will occur as stated here. Please note: All interested persons wishing to attend the, non-mandatory but highly recommended, Pre-Bid Meeting to be held at Vance AFB must provide the following information a minimum of five (5) days prior to the Pre-Bid Meeting.
