- This is a synopsis to determine the capability and availability of commercial restaurant businesses interested to provide employees and food service sources for the full operation and management of a seafood restaurant located at Seaside Inn Restaurant, Kadena Marina, Kadena AB, Okinawa Japan. The 18th Contracting Squadron is out sourcing restaurant locally or foreigner restaurant owner preferrably seafood restaurant. There will be an Industry Business Day on the 28 Jul 08, 0900 hrs. at the Seaside Inn Restaurant, Bldg. 3629, Kadena Marina, Kadena AB, Okinawa, Japan. Interested parties must fill-up the attached form to attend this Industry Business Day event. Our customer, 18 FSS/NAF is anticipating to have a five year basic contract with an option to renew for another five years option, if the incummbent contractor receive a positive past performance financial reports. This is a non-appropriated funds (NAF) requirement, and it does not obligate appropriate funds of the United States Government. Non-appropriated funds are generated by the military community through the goods and services collected through all the NAF programs. This requirement does not involve federal tax dollars. This is not a Request for Proposal nor Request for Quote and this is not considered to be a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited. No basis for claim against the Government shall arise as a result from a response to this Sources Notice or Government use of any information provided. This is not a solicitation, this is a synopsis to identify potential offerors and consider for possible geographic restriction, if and when a solicitation is developed. Response to this synopsis notice is stricly voluntary and in no way obligates the government. The information received as a result of this notice will be protected in accordance with regulation and shall become the property of the US Government. This synopsis does not constitute a request for proposal, nor does if restrict the government to a particular acquisition approach.
