- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division, Panama City, Florida intends to solicit Florida Atlantic University, 777 Glades Road, Boca Raton, FL 33431-0991 on a sole source basis to support BOSS operation during data collection tests and to perform image analysis of the detected buried objects during FY08 SERDP Project MM-1507 Tests. FAU is uniquely qualified to support the Bottom Object Scanning Sensor (BOSS) sensor operations during the tests and perform the image analysis since they are the original developer of the BOSS sensor suite and the analysis techniques which produce imaging data of the detected objects. All work is expected to be completed by 30 November 2008. Delivery will be the Naval Support Activity - Panama City, Receiving Officer, Building 100, 101 Vernon Avenue, Panama City, FL 32407-7018. A firm-fixed-price order is anticipated. The Request for Quote (RFQ) number is N61331-08-T-9507. Simplified Acquisition Procedures is the method of award for this procurement. The NAICS code is 541330 with size standard of $4.5M. The order shall be firm fixed priced with an expected delivery date of 4 Aug 2008. The expected award date is 31 Jul 2008. In order to be eligible for award firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). Vendors may obtain information on registration in the CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Please note that defense payment office may not make payment unless the contractor is established to receive electronic funds transfer (EFT).
