- United States Government The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency Seeks Space for Lease in Downtown Boston, Massachusetts Requirements: The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), a bureau of the U.S. Department of Treasury, is seeking to lease between 11,000 – 14,000 ANSI/BOMA Office Area square feet of office and related space, located on one floor. Space must be capable of meeting accessibility requirements. Space offered cannot be located on the first floor or lowest lever above ground. Subleases are not eligible for consideration, unless the building’s owner has agreed to execute a prime lease with the Government if a lease award is made. Location: The building must be within the area bounded by Essex Street on the South to Washington Street on the West to Court/State Street on the North to Oliver Street on the East. Buildings located on either side of the boundary streets will be considered to be within this delineated area. Term: Lease term will be for ten (10) years firm with two five (5) year renewal options. Occupancy: Space must be ready for demolition and commencement of tenant improvements by no later than September 30, 2009. Owners & Authorized Agents: Expressions of interest should be submitted by July 28th and should include the following information: 1. Building name and address 2. Available rentable and usable square footage and rate per rentable and usable square foot 3. Date space is available for construction of tenant improvements 4. Proposed floor 5. Owner’s name and address and written statement from owner that offeror has legal authority to provide information on the property.
