Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP) intends to negotiate a commercial sole source contract with Knapp Logistics and Automation Inc., 2124 Barrett Park Drive, Suite 100, Kennesaw, Georgia 30144 under the authority FAR 6.302-1 and FAR 13.501. This procurement is to obtain services to diagnose and repair the Knapp Ejectors for the Hines Great Lakes CMOP located at 5th Avenue and Roosevelt Road, Hines, Illinois 60141. The base period of service will be from August 1, 2008 through July 31, 2009 and up to four (4) Option Years after the base period. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposal based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
