Project locations are Maritime Museum (Sleeping Bear Point Coast Guard Station) Parking, 2500 SY, located approximately 8 miles north of Empire, MI; Empire Housing Area, 560 SY parking, located off State Highway 22 on the south edge of Empire, MI; Empire Housing Area Drive, 0.145 mile of street, 20 feet wide, located off State Highway 22 on the south edge of Empire, MI. All work under this contact shall be in accordance with SLURRY SEAL MDOT SPEC 506. This contract is reserved for "emerging small businesses" and shall be awarded pursuant to Public Law 100-656, Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The code for this contract is 237310-Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction. To qualify for this contract, Contractors shall have an annual revenue no greater than $6.5 million. The magnitude of this construction contract is "slurry seal and repair of 3 parking areas" and the estimated price range is "less than $25,000".
