Description
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport is soliciting for the purchase of MK 48 MOD 6 and 7 Torpedo pressure relief valve in accordance with NAVSEA baseline drawing number 5906211 and associated documents. This procurement will be solicited and awarded as an option quantity fixed price contract with a base year quantity and four (4) option year quantities. Quantities for the base year are 60 units. Option years are estimated up to 60 units per year. FOB Destination: Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport, Keyport, WA 98345. Restricted Drawings and Technical Information are only available by accessing Federal Business Opportunity (FedBizOpps) web site. Registration instructions and Vendor Guide book can be found on the FedBizOpps homepage https://www.fbo.gov. The applicable NAICS Code for this requirement is 332710 and a size standard of 500 employees. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued by 7 Aug 2008. The anticipated closing date of the solicitation will be 7 Sep 2008. The RFP will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunity (FedBuzOp) web link www.fbo.gov. Offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFP from this website and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFP. No telephone or fax requests for the RFP package will be accepted. An email request to mark.j.hendrickson@navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFP from the FedBuzOp website. After downloading the solicitation, firms interested in submitting quotes must: (1) complete the pricing, (2) complete all representations and certifications found in the solicitation (3) and ensure current registration in the DoD Central Contractor Registration database (http://www.ccr.gov/). No bidders list will be maintained by this office. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFP and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your offer nonresponsive and result in rejection of the same. Notes 1 and 26 applies.
