Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F3Z3908141A002; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-26, Defense DCN 20080513, and AFAC 2008-0605. This acquisition will be total small business set-aside; the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811198. The business size standard is $6,500,000. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is J023. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 7539. This request for quotation consists of parts and installation of air cooling units that are required for three (3) separate vehicles. ITEM 0001: Pro Air Model 526 Cooling Unit OR EQUAL: 3 EA; Part Number 51-000-697 OR EQUAL. ITEM 0002: Pro Air Two Fan Unit OR EQUAL: 3 EA; Part Number: 50-000-880 OR EQUAL. ITEM 0003: Installation of line items 0001 and 0002 into Ford Utilimasters, model year 2006: 3 EA. Vehicle information is shown below: License Plates: VIN: G43-2796D 1FCJE39L86DA4673 G43-2793D 1FCJE39L56DA46803 G43-2782D 1FCJE39L26DA46760 ITEM 0004: Freon draw down and recharge: 3 EA. Item 0005: Labor freon draw down and rechage: 3 EA. The following provisions and/or clauses apply to this acquisition. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items (Jan 1999): (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
