Description
The Federal Aviation Administration has a requirement for the installation of a Temporary Break Cargo Facility at the William J. Hughes Technical Center. Work requires the provision of all labor, materials, equipment and supervision to prepare and modify existing Parking Lot G for the installation of the Temporary Break Cargo Facility. Work includes, but is not limited to: brush clearing, grubbing, removal of 3" thick existing pavement, excavation and backfill, stormwater piping, grading of roadway and building site, providing and shaping base material for roadway and building site, compaction, resurfacing parking lot area with 3" of new I-5 bituminous concrete, grading and seeding. Also included in the work is the installation of new electrical utility facilities and equipment including, but not limited to: concrete encased ductbanks, manhole and handholes, medium voltage cabling, pad mounted transformer, and secondary voltage outdoor panelboards and incidental related work. The dollar range for this project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 238210. (Note: The competition designation for this solicitation is full and open. The NAICS code is used strictly to determine business size for statistical purposes.) There will be a mandatory site visit on Thursday, July 24, 2008, at 10 am. If you plan to attend the site visit, please call Lori McLaughlin, (609) 485-5174 before July 24, 2008. This will be the only site visit scheduled for this project. The solicitation, including specifications and drawings, will be handed out at the site visit. Companies who do not attend the site visit will not be permitted to submit a proposal.
