This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The solicitation number for this procurement is Reference No. F1DT858170A001. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotations. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-20. This requirement is 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 335129 and the Size Standard is 500 employees. AFDW/A7KI has a requirement for 160 each Light Emitting Diode (LED) Kits, Each kit will have two light sources. The first light source must be @470nm and second light source must be UV@395nm. The minimum technical specifications for these LED kits are as follows: LED Light Performance: a. 5 each 5-MM super-brilliant 100,000 hour LED lamps with optic-enhancing reflectors. b.Up to 30 feet effective range for the 470nm light source. c.Up to 7 feet effective range for UV @395 light source. Body Construction: a. Machined aircraft aluminum body with military-grade, Type III anodizing. b.Stainless steel head with recessed LED lamps. c.Knurled switch cap with rubber button. d.Internal piston e.Approximately.860”diameter x 4.75” long. f.Lanyard hole. g.Crush-proof to +2000 lbs. Operations: a.Constant on/off via twist-activated switch cap. b.Momentary on via switch cap button. c.Operating range – 30 degrees to +60 degrees C. Power Source: a.Eight, CR123A (3V) replaceable lithium batteries with 10 year shelf life, tow in each unit, four spare batteries contained within kit. b.Provides up to 20 hours burn time per set of batteries.
