- This is a correction to an earlier posting. Responses are due no later than 3:00 p.m. eastern standard time July 25, 2008. This is a Sources Sought Notice and is for informational purposes only. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS, QUOTATIONS OR BIDS. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District, requests capability statements from Service Disabled Veteran Owned businesses concerning the potential project described below. Responses to this sources sought announcement will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. NO SOLICITATION IS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. Responses are to be sent via email to christina.sale@usace.army.mil or hard copy to U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Baltimore District, 10 S Howard Street, Room 7000, Baltimore, MD 21201-1715 no later than 3:00 p.m. eastern standard time July 31, 2008. Project Description: The contractor shall provide all personnel, supervision, and materials to provide daily visitor services at the Visitor Information Center. The contractor shall manage and operate the Visitor Information which includes the Information Booth and Information Office which guidance and assistance to Arlington National Cemetery visitors, either in person or by telephone; issue special passes and permits, schedule wreath laying ceremonies and maintain records of services. This will be a fixed price contract for a term of five (5) years. The contract magnitude is expected not to exceed $5,000,000. Interested SDVOB certified firms should submit a narrative demonstrating their experience in similar services type contracts which demonstrate their ability perform the work. Capability statements should include the following information: details of similar projects, dates of services, project references (including owner with phone number and email address), and contract amount. Narratives shall be no longer than five pages. Email responses are preferred. Comments will be shared with the Government and the project management team, but otherwise be held in strict confidence. Comments may be in any format, but must include the offerors name, phone number, and email address.
