Description
The Service Provider (SP) is required to perform Engine Manager duties including advising the Government on administering engine management program including maintenance concepts, principles, policies and techniques; acting as the Stock Record Account Number (SRAN) Engine Manager; attending meetings and conferences; developing procedures for deployed locations and ensuring engine monitors are trained prior to deployment; preparing shipping documentation and ensuring proper shipping configuration; and providing reports and status to the Government. The SP is required to perform TCTOs and TCIs monitoring including acting as the inspection/time change monitor for the installation; receiving, scheduling, tracking, and maintaining status and documentation on all TCTOs; tracking TCTO kits, parts and tools, and forecasting parts needed for completion; monitoring TCTO requirements daily to ensure completion prior to ground date; ensuring all engines inspections are identified and timelines created in IMDS/G081/CEMS, and proper tracking/documentation of compliance is accomplished; and monitoring status and inspection of propellers. The SP is required to provide engine trending and analysis to ensure safe operation, performance reliability, and lower maintenance cost to the Government. This includes ensuring flight data engine tape performance is downloaded and cataloged after every flight; all engine Dash 6 and 06 special inspections are loaded in MIS against the engine, not the aircraft; acting as the Comprehensive Engine Trending and Diagnostics System (CETADS) administrator; and managing the CEMS SRAN account. The SP is required to manage records. This includes conducting aircraft document reviews to ensure engine time reported on Form 781J matches with CEMS and G081; maintaining both automated and non-automated record and maintenance data on aircraft, engines and components; updating and monitoring G081, CAMS, IMDS, REMIS, CFRS, SBSS and CEMS, and providing automated management products; and coordinating depot maintenance requirements with AFMC.
