- Description
- Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC) intends to issue a request for quote for the Removal and Disposal of Office Trailers for the 832nd Transportation Battalion, 8675 Maritime Street, Jacksonville, Florida. Contractor shall provide all equipment, labor, material, supplies and supervision necessary to demolish and remove eight (8) office trailers located in the trailer compound, 8675-100 Maritime St, Jacksonville, FL in accordance with commercial standards, local state and federal laws, and the requirements of the PWS. The period of performance begins 10 days after Notice to Proceed and continue up to four months later. The anticipated contract start date is 30 Aug 2008. The proposed solicitation is 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Set Aside and NAICS Code 238910 with size standard of $13 MIL applies. This solicitation will be issued as a commercial item in accordance with FAR Part 12 and evaluated in accordance with FAR Part 13. The solicitation will be issued on or about 25 Jul 2008 and close approximately 20 days thereafter. A pre-proposal conference will be held for this procurement. The date and time and other information will be provided with the solicitation. Cut off date for questions will be 5 days after the release of the RFQ.
