- NASA/GRC has a requirement for the purchase of a server license, two (2) clientlicenses, and a license of COREsim along with the associated maintenance. Description ofthe licenses is as follows: (1) Enterprise Server Only Product Code ES-50-102(2) Enterprise Client Product Code EC-50-100(1) COREsim Enterprise Add-on Product Code EC-50-110We also require twelve months of maintenance for each of the above licenses.NASA/GRC intends to purchase the items from VITECH CORPORATION, 2070 Chain Bridge Rd,.Ste 100, Vienna, VA 22182. This vendor has developed the software and holds the sourcecode. It is proprietary and unique to them. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the SimplifiedAcquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13. The Sole Source is under the authority of FAR reference 13.106-1(b)1.Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform theeffort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local timeon July 30, 2008. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for thepurpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and opencompetition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretionof the government.Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.An Ombudsman has been appointed.
