- Description
- This project consists of upgrading parts of the VAV HVAC system serving the computer training area in Building 100. The work includes demolition, ceiling removal and reinstallation, power, HVAC, controls, ductwork, and asbestos removal. The work is located at Arnold Air Force Base, Tennessee. The period of performance is 70 calendar days after notice to proceed. The estimated construction magnitude is between $25,000 and $100,000. The bid opening date shall be 30 calendar days after issuance of the solicitation. The estimated solicitation release date with the specification is 11 August 2008. FAR 52.232-18: Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer. Invitation for Bid (IFB) will only be available electronically at the FBO website. No hard copies, faxes, or emails will be available. Please register as a source to be notified of IFB Amendments, Clarifications, etc. It is the responsibility of the contractors (even those registered as a source) to check the FBO website frequently to ensure they have all available information.
