Description
The Intramural Research Program (IRP), National Institute on Aging (NIA), Laboratory of Epidemiology, Demography and Biometry (LEDB); at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to award a Sole Source contract for a professional services contract to assist the LEDB investigators with the analysis, interpretation and write-up of whole genome wide scan data of approximately 3600 participants in Age, Gene/Environment Susceptibility-Reykjavik Study to the University of Washington, Grants and Contracts Division, Office of Sponsored Programs, 1100 NE 45th Street, Suite 300, Seattle, WA, 98105-6613. NAICS CODE 611310 and the size standard is $6.5. The specific tasks to be performed by the contractor will be to the Laboratory of Epidemiology, Demography and Biometry (LEDB). This notice may represent the only official notice. This is a Simplified Acquisition with the estimated value of less than $100,000.00 threshold. This acquisition is being procured under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy this agency’s requirement. This Notice of Intent (NOI) is not a request for competitive proposals. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct any future competitive procurement requirements.
