Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement will be a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Own Business. (ii) This synopsis solicitation number is FA4814-08-T-A003. (iii) This synopsis solicitation RFQ and the provisions and clauses incorporated are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-18 (July 5,2007). (iv) The applicable NAICS is 423210. (v) This synopsis solicitation contains (1) LOT line items. Shipping must be FOB destination with delivery, assembly, installation and set-up of all items at Delivery location. (vii) Delivery location: Bldg 151, 6th COS MacDill AFB,FL 33621. Acceptance will be Government: 6th CONS Bldg 151 on or before September 30, 2008. The government intends to award a firm fixed price contract consisting of the following requirement: Miscelaneaous Furniture ( work stations, bookcases, conference tables, chairs, filing cabinets and acoustical panels etc.) Contractor site visit is required and shall be accomplish by scheduling all prospected contractors the same day. There is no time to schedule separate visits. (viii) The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial (JAN 2004), applies to this acquisition (ix), Offers will be evaluated using the best value selection method, the following are the evaluation factors to be used. Technically acceptable, delivery time, price, installation and set up of all items at delivery location, and past performance. Complete Delivery, Installation, Assembly, and Set Up of all items at Bldg 151, FOB Destination, 6th CONS MacDill AFB, FL 33621 The contract will be awarded to the offeror that provides the best value to the government. (x) The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items (OCT 2003) applies to this acquisition. All offers must include a completed copy of this provision.
