Description
THIS PROJECT IS UNRESTRICTED. NOTE: Any prospective Offeror interested in obtaining plans and specifications for this solicitation must register on our website at www.fbo.gov. Contractors may view and/or download this solicitation and all amendments from the Internet after solicitation issuance. Description of work: Task Orders issued under this Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) type Single Award Task Order Contract (SATOC) will be for site preparation and paving or work incidental to paving (i.e. storm drainage, sodding, detection loops, etc.). Work will be primarily performed at Fort Bragg, NC; however, work may also be performed at other Federal Facilities located within the geographic boundaries of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineer, South Atlantic Division. Work may also be performed at other Federal Facilities outside the above stated geographical boundary on an expected basis as determined by the Contracting Officer. Task Orders issued under any resultant contract(s) will be Firm – Fixed Price. The task orders issued under these contracts will be Firm Fixed Price Construction. The contract shall be for a period of three years and shall not exceed $14.5 million. This project will be procured using a best value Performance Price Trade-off Request for Proposals (RFP) in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15.101-1. The contract will be Firm Fixed Price. Offerors are required to submit a price and technical proposal. Each proposal shall contain the offerors best technical proposal and best price. The estimated magnitude of this IDC is between $5,000,000.00 and $14,500,000.00. This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be available on or about 21 July 2008 on the Internet a www.fbo.gov. Notification of amendments will be through use of the Internet. No additional media (CD-ROM, floppy disks, faxes, etc.) will be provided. It is the Offerors responsibility to check the Internet address provided as necessary for any posted changes to this solicitation and all amendments. Proposals shall include sufficient detailed information to allow complete evaluation. The Government reserves the right to reject any and all offers. Offerors are reminded that while the Government may elect to consider data obtained from other sources, the burden of proof of acceptability rests with the Offeror. Note: Response Date referenced under General Information does not refer to the PROPOSAL DUE DATE. Information on the PROPOSAL DUE DATE will be stated in the solicitation.
