- Description
- The U.S. Geological Survey(USGS), Forest and Rangeland Ecosystem Science Center has a requirement for a follow-on contract for office trailer space in Corvallis, Oregon. The Contractor must include all labor, approved materials, equipment, transportation and supervision necessary for the delivery, set-up, maintenance, rental, and after lease expiration, takedown and removal of approximately 42' x 70' office trailer space. The office trailer space shall contain eight private offices, conference room, two restrooms, kitchenette, and open office space. Electrical, data, water, and sewer connections exist onsite and work to finish those connections to the office trailer space shall be inclusive. The site is located on federal land. The term of the rental will be for one base year with four option years. The solicitation resulting in the current contract, due to expire 25 Sep 2008, was set-aside for 100% small business participation. The USGS intends to award a follow-on contract to the incumbant, Design Space Modular Buildings. Other interested concerns having the ability to meet the USGS' requirement may submit a capabilities statement to the Contracting Officer no later than the closing date of this announcement at 16:00 local time. All submissions will be evaluated to determine if competitive opportunities exist. If no competitive opportunities exist, Request for Proposal (RFP) 08WRSS0021 will be made available to Design Space Modular Buildings on or about 04 Aug 2008. This notice and any resulting solicitation or contract conforms to the requirements in place through FAC 2005-26, effective 12 Jun 2008.
