- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIRSYCOM) intends to contract for the retrofit of 16 each Airborne Low Frequency Sonar (ALFS) system Transducer Assembly (TA) Batteries under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) in support of the H-60 Helicopter program for the United States Navy. Specifically, the effort consists of an Interim Accessory Change (IAYC) to address power up failures associated with battery charging reliability, deficiencies in full charge capabilities and hardware design improvements. NAVAIRSYCOM intends to procure these services from Raytheon Company, Portsmouth, RI, the sole manufacturer/integrator of the H-60 AN/AQS-22 Airborne Low Frequency Sonar (ALFS), under an existing Basic Order Agreement. See Note No. 22.
