- The US Army Medical Command, Southeast Region has a requirement for a MOHS Surgery Cryostat System for Martin Army Community Hospital, Fort Benning, Georgia. The Government intends to award a sole source contract for this requirement. The suggested contractor is Belair Instrument Company Inc., 36 Commerce Street, Springfield Mew Jersey 07081-3004. 1 each Leica CM1510-S MOHS Surgery Cryostat System configured with the following: 12 each 25mm specimen chucks, 6 each 30mm specimen chucks, heat sink, microtrome lubrication oil, operator's manual, anti-roll brushes, QC thermometer, disposable blades and miscellaneous tools for microtome; 1 each Automatic Stainer configured with 10 staining dishes & 1 slideholder (30 slide capacity). Contains hoses and tubing for attachment to your running water or an adapter for your faucet. Allows flowing water in 1-3 dishes. Two additional dishes and 1 additional 30 slide slideholder may be added to the stainer; 1 each Manual Slide Staining Set-up with 12 staining dishes, metal rack support assembly and 2 slide holders with capacity of 24 slides each; 1 each Leica DME Microscope for MOHS Surgery configured with the following accessory package: Binocular body 10x20mm wide-field eyepieces, 2.6x4x10x and 40x C-Plan achromat objective, right hand mechanical stage control, slide holder, 12 volt/20watt halogen illuminations system and a blue light exit filter; 1 each Dual View Side-by-Side Adapter for the Leica DME Microscope; 1 each Model G-30 Fume Absorber System configured with the standard charcoal filter to meet all CLIA regulations for MOHS Surgery applications; 1 each 12 gallon flammable storage cabinet with an adjustable shelf and 1 each Chemical, reagent and supply package including the following: 3 gallons 100% Reagent Alcohol; 3 gallons 95% Reagent Alcohol; 32 oz. bottle Eosin Working Solution; 32 oz. bottle Gill III Hematoxylin; 1 gallon Scotts Tap Water; 1 gallon HistoClear Cleaning Solution; 5 packs Ultrafrost Plus Adhesive Slides; 1 case Coverslips - 24mm x 60mm or 24mm x 50mm; 1 set Davidson 5 color marking dye; 2 tubes Petri Dishes; 2 folders Slide Folders - cardboard; 2 files Slide Storage System - cardboard; 1 each forceps - straight or curved; 1 each Specimen Grossing Board; 1 each 3-channel timer 2 bottles TBS Tissue Freezing Medium; 2 bottles TBS ShurMount Mounting Medium; 4 each black marking pens; 2 bottles OCT solution and 2 cans Cryospray. This is not a request for proposal. However, entities that can provide an equal product must submit their technical capabilities to include certifications/licenses and Curriculum Vitae, past performance information, price and delivery time. This information will be reviewed by the Government medical/technical representatives for consideration for future requirements.
