Description
CANCELLATION NOTICE: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13.5, as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W55R7D7182N014 and is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-24. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 444210 with a small business size standard of $6M. This requirement is a [ Small Business ] set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit bids. The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2008-07-08 15:00:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com. FOB Destination shall be Fort Riley, KS 66442 The USA ACA Fort Riley requires the following items, Brand Name or Equal, to the following: LI 001, SOWBackup generator for building 222 PROJECT:SUPPLY 1- TRAILER MOUNTED CUMMINS 60 KW GENERATOR AND SUPPLY AND INSTALL 1-400 AMP TRANSFER SWITCH. SCOPE OF WORK: Supply and deliver 1- trailer mounted 60 kw generator set. See below spec sheet. Supply and install 1- 400amp 120/208 volt 3 pole automatic transfer switch. Supply and install 1- 200amp 3 phase Rubble weather proof twist lock female plug on the exterior of the building. Supply and install all conduit and wire from the existing M,D,P. to the ATS and from the ATS to the existing disconnect switch that feeds the existing UPS system. Supply and install all conduit and wire for the block heater, control circuits, and remote annunciator. Supply all conduit and wire from the ATS to the weather proof Hubble twist lock plug on the exterior of the building. Note: The electrical service shut down and change over will be done after normal working hours. This work will have a 1 year labor and materials warranty. The generator set and automatic transfer switch will have a 5 year comprehensive warranty. Includes start up, testing of all equipment and on site personnel training. Contractor shall include 10 gallons of diesel fuel for start up. Transfer Switch: 400A OTPC, 120/208 VAC, NEMA I Enclosure, a 1008 Certified, 3 Pole, Digital Display Painting: Trailer, Automatic Transfer Switch, Generator Set Enclosure will be acid etched, 2 coats of primer, painted Cummings green., 1, EA; For this solicitation, USA ACA Fort Riley intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, FedBid, Inc. FedBid has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. An Offeror may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction. USA ACA Fort Riley is taking this action in an effort to improve both vendor access and awareness of requests and the agency's ability to gather multiple, competed, real-time bids. All responsible Offerors that respond to this solicitation MUST submit the pricing portion of their bid using the online exchange located at www.FedBid.com.
