Description
REQUIREMENT: The General Services Administration currently leases 1,607 rentable square feet of office space at 501 Riverside Drive in Gurnee, Illinois. GSA intends to negotiate a twelve (12) month (six (6) months firm) extension with this location. GSA, however, will consider other buildings provided they meet the criteria in this announcement and can prove overall cost effectiveness when considering relocation costs of furniture and telecommunications, tenant improvements and other factors. The rentable space must yield a minimum of 1,473-1,607 ANSI/BOMA Office Area square feet for use by government personnel, furnishings and equipment. Floor plates must have potential for efficient space layout. REQUIRED: All services, supplies, utilities and tenant alterations are to be provided as part of the rental consideration. The Government shall have access to the space 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. The offered space must meet Government requirements for security, fire, life and seismic safety and handicapped accessibility. LOCATION: Offered properties must be located in Chicago bounded by: North: Grand Avenue, South: Belvidere Road, East: S. Greenbay Road, West: N. Hunt Club Road. LEASE TERM: Twelve (12) months, six (6) months firm. EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST: If you desire to submit a location for inspection, please forward information by 5:00 pm EDT, July 30, 2008. Expressions of interest should include building name and address, location of space in the building, rentable square feet offered and rentable rate per square foot (specifying services and utilities included), ANSI/BOMA defined usable square feet, and contact information for owner or authorized agent. Brokers or agents may represent the prospective landlord, but any properties or proposals submitted by brokers/agents must be accompanied by written evidence that they are authorized to represent the building's ownership.
