Description
The Regional Contracting Department, Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC), Pearl Harbor, Hawaii intends on negotiating a contract for the acquisition of the following noted line items. Please annotate Solicitation No. N00604-08-T-0312. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the acquisition of commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this announcement. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION will not be issued. This procurement is set aside for small business. The NAICS code and the small business size standard for this procurement is 327910 and 500 employees respectively. The FSC Code is 5350. Award will be conducted under the provisions of FAR Part 12 Commercial Item and FAR 13.5 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. All prospective quoters are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of amendments (if any) or other information pertaining to this solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a quotation in response to this synopsis, which shall be considered. This synopsis/solicitation is being issued as a Request For Quotations (RFQ), for a Firm Fixed Price type contract incorporating provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisitions Circular 2005-26 and DFARS Change Notice 20080722. The Regional Contracting Department, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii intends to award a single, firm fixed price contract for: ITEM 0001: GRIT, STEEL, 50, NSN: 5350-LL-L27-0127 ORDERING DATA: NEW MANUFACTURE ONLY IAW SSPC-AB3 DATED 01FEB03 (REVISED 01NOV04), CLASS-1, SIZE G50 IAW SAE-J444 DTD JUL05, HARDNESS G50L (ROCKWELL 54 TO 61 HRC) IAE SAE J1993 DTD JUL05. PACKE DIN 55 GALLON DRUMS (APPROX 1600 LBS) POLY LINED AND SEALED, POLY COVERED ON HARDWOOD PALLETS. CERITIFICATION OF CONFORMANCE (COC) REQUIRED IAW SSPC-AB3. HMAUL, MSDS REQUIRED, DOL 29 CFR 1910.1200. ***MUST BE STORED IN DRY AREA ONLY *** QUANTITY NEEDED: 440 DRUMS Quotes shall be FOB Destination, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii 96860.
