- Solicitation--IFB N62473-08-B-4120, DEMOLISH BUILDING 1512 & IMPROVE PARKING AREA (TP-0942M/R) at the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, CA. The work includes furnishing all material, labor, supervision, and equipment to / for construction of DEMOLISH BUILDING 1512 AND IMPROVE PARKING AREA including, but not limited to: demolition; hazardous waste and material recycling; minor earthwork for subgrade adjustment; asphalt concrete pavement installation; cast-in-place concrete work; and, incidental related work. The address for downloading this solicitation from the Internet is: https://www.neco.navy.mil. A Quality Control Program will be required as set forth in the Contract Specifications. NOTE: All Federal Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, new contract awards can only be made to contractors who are registered in the CCR. CCR Web site: www.ccr.gov ; request form at 1-800-334-3414. Specifications & Drawings available on the Internet Site on or about 15 AUG 2008. Site Visit 10:00 AM, local time, 26 AUG 2008. Only one site visit will be offered. Meet at the ROICC Office, Bldg. 1138T1. NOTE: All Contractors attending the Site Visit must provide their full name and Company name no later than 24 hours prior to the time of the site visit via email to the Contracting Office. Bid Opening 2:00 PM, local time, 15 SEP 2008. Duration of contract 120 calendar days. Estimated Cost Range between $250,000 and $500,000. This is a Firm Fixed Price contract. NOTE: Bids submitted in response to this advertisement will be evaluated in compliance with FAR Clause 52.214-10, Contract Award Sealed Bidding (Jul 1990). NAICS Code 238910. The related Small Business Size Standard is $13.0 Million. The Government intends to issue this solicitation through the use of the Internet. Plans and Specifications will NOT be directly provided in a paper hard copy format. Notification of any changes to this solicitation (amendments) shall be made only on the Internet. It is therefore the Contractors responsibility to check the below listed address daily for any posted changes to this solicitations plans and specifications. Download from the Internet is free of charge; however, some plans and specifications will take a considerable amount of time to download. Telephone or FAX requests will not be accepted. The official Plan Holders list will be maintained on, and can be printed from the Internet site. All prospective bidders must register as planholders on the Internet EBS Web Site for this project. Each company must indicate its name, address, phone number, and E-Mail address; identify whether the firm is a Prime, sub or Supplier, and indicate whether firm is a small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business or Large Business or if firm is a Woman-Owned Business. Plan Centers are also required to register. See solicitation for proper address for delivery of bids. Bid results may be obtained on the Internet Site 24 hours after bid opening.
