- Description: Responses to questions (Q) received from interested participants and our answers (A) follow: (Q.1) What are the current deadlines for the Fort Campbell Courier? (A.1): Deadlines are Wednesday 2p.m. for Community and Leisure sections, Thursday 2p.m. for both News sections (Q.2) When does the PAO receive the dummy? (A.2): Layouts are received on Friday morning for Community and Leisure sections and Monday morning for news sections. (Q.3) What time and day does the paper go to press? (A.3): The Community and Leisure sections go to press by 3 p.m. Wednesday and the News sections go to press by 3p.m. Thursday. (Q.4) How many housing units is the Courier delivered to on Thursday? (A.4): Each set of family quarters on Fort Campbell get the paper which would currently be 4,181 papers. (Q.5) What time are the papers delivered to each of these housing units? (A.5): The papers are delivered by 7 p.m. Thursday evenings. (Q.6) Can we get a list of current single copy distribution points, on and off post? Yes (A.6): Off post distribution points follow (as of July 2006): Businesses: Tennessee 95 Kentucky 58 Other 20 Personal: Tennessee 25 Kentucky 18 Other 41 Military 71 Government Congressman Whitfield TOTAL: 329 Plus 122 vending racks and over the counter in store locations off post. Some locations have several racks. (Q.7) Does Fort Campbell have the right to use FortCampbellCourier.com? (A.7): No (Q.8) What IP address does the PAO want to use for the paper? (A.8): www.fortcampbellcourier.com or www.campbellcourier.com or www.thefortcampbellcourier.com (Q.9) Will the current contractor transfer this to the winner of the paper? (A.9): Unknown to be determined between the incumbent and new contractor. (Q.10) How many personnel are currently in the PAO working on the Courier both contractor and government/military employees? (A.10): 4 contractor & 2 government personnel. All responsible concerns may submit an offer which will be considered by the agency. Vendors shall include CAGE Code, DUNS and TIN with their proposal. Proposals are due not later than 4:00 PM, 31 July 2008 at Directorate of Contracting, Bldg. 2172, ATTN: Kevin Day, 13 St., Ft. Campbell, KY 42223-5334 email kevin.day1@us.army.mil. Successful offeror must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database prior to award of contract.
