Description: Service & Maintenance for the equipment listed herein: This is a synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is seeking sources to provide a One (1) year Service & Maintenance Agreement for the attached list of equipment.The equipment listed consists of EPA-owned D.C. Power System Equipment which supplies power and battery back-up for the NEC2400 ICS PBX and OCTEL Overture 350 Voice Processing Systems. Service includes unlimited emergency service for Type 2.0 Equipment and Preventive Maintenance only for Type 1.0 Equipment. Preventive Maintenance intervals are included on the table for both 2.0 and 1.0 Equipment Types. Service for Type 2.0 Equipment is 4 hour guaranteed on-site response.and includes all parts, labor and expenses 24/7 with a return call back response within 15 minutes of telephone notification. Preventive maintenance for both types 2.0 & 1.0 shall be performed Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm at EPA convenience. Vendor will manage and provide all service and equipment record keeping monthly. Payment: invoices shall be submitted quarterly in arrears. Please include current labor & expense rate schedules in your quote for equipment not covered by Type 2.0 service. The Period of Performance is 10/1/08 - 9/30/09 which may be reduced to accommodate agency needs. The selected offeror must comply with the following commercial items & conditions. FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors - Commercial, applies to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation - Commercial Items, evaluation criteria will be for past performance. The selected offeror must submit a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations & Certifications - Commercial items. FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms & Conditions - Commercials Items, applies to this acquisition. The following FAR clauses in paragraph (b) of FAR clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms & Conditions Required to Implement Statutes of Exexcutive Orders-Commercial Items, will apply: 52.204-7, 52.222.26, 52.222-36, 52.232-1, 52.232-25, 52.232-33, 52.233-1, 52.233-3, 52,243-1, 52.246-4, 52.249-4. CCR Requirement- Company must be registered in CCR, they may do so by going to CCR web site at http://www.ccr.gov. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 811219 and the Small and the Small Business Size Standard is $6.5 million dollars.
