THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS FOR SOURCES SOUGHT ONLY. NO COMMITMENT IS BEING MADE BY THE GOVERNMENT THROUGH THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. The Federal Bureau of Prisons, USP Hazelton, Bruceton Mills, WV 26525 is requesting capabilities information of providers with intention of issuing one or more Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) for the medical care of inmates incarcerated at USP Hazelton, (to include all current and future facilities within the complex of facilities: United States Penitentiary, Secure Female Facility, Satellite Camp), and FCI Morgantown. Services performed will be for emergency and non-emergency medical care to an accredited medical facility with in a 50 mile radius of each the USP or FCI. The USP and FCI reserve the right to determine that the proposed distances of community-based providers pose an unacceptable cost or security risk and to find such offers unacceptable. Services should be performed within the attached draft Statement of Work (SOW). Market research is being conducted to determine the capabilities of potential sources for this requirement.
