- The National Park Service, Yosemite National Park, (YOSE) has identified a requirement to replace roofs on five NPS buildings. The solicitation will be issued electronically on the Department of Interiors (DOI) National Business Center (NBC) web site at http://www.ideasec.nbc.gov. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be made available. Interested contractors desiring to conduct business with DOI are requested to register at the web site. Contractors wishing to receive electronic notification of changes will need to register to receive notification of this specific solicitation at http://www.ideasec.nbc.gov. The service is provided for convenience only and does not serve as a guarantee of notification. Subscribers to this service are ultimately responsible for reviewing the web site for all information relevant to this solicitation. Plan holders will be required to visit this web site periodically to check for amendments and other changes to the procurement documents. No other notifications will be sent. "Project Description: The anticipated order includes, but is not limited to the following: stripping/removing old roofing; install the specified roofing system following manufacturer's directions, code requirements, industry standards, and, when applicable, NPS specifications for historic building roofs. This procurement will be an IDIQ contract and is restricted to Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses.. The Request for Proposals (RFP) will be issued o/a August 8, 2008 with a closing date of o/a September 8, 2008. In accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Part 36, the estimated magnitude of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000. NAICS Code for this project is 238160. Award selection will be based on the overall best value to the government after considering price and factors other than price. Bold underlined items will change per requirement.
