- NASA/GSFC has a requirement for annual preventative maintenance and all repairs forthree years for an ACQUITY UPLC (including autosampler, column compartment, pumps,fluorescence detector,photodiode array detector, and software) and nanoACQUITY UPLC(including autosampler, column compartment, pumps, auxiliary pumps, trapping valve, andsoftware). NASA/GSFC intends to purchase the items from Waters Corporation, pursuant to FAR 13.106,for the acquisition of supplies or services determined to be reasonably available fromonly one source.The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform theeffort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local timeby the response date listed above. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluatedsolely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on acompetitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed efforton a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solelywithin the discretion of the government.Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.An Ombudsman has been appointed.
