Description
Please note that the date for Small business manufacturers to reply to the point of contact listed in this notice is extended to July 30, 2008. This is a Sources Sought Notice to determine if SMALL BUSINESSES exist that manufacture the equipment required below. The purpose of this project is to replace the current hot water and glycol pumps and motors with new hot water and glycol pumps and motors at the following facility: Joseph P. Addabbo Federal Building (Northeast Program Service Center) 155-10 Jamaica Ave. Jamaica, NY 11432 The building occupies eleven floors plus two sub-floors, measures approximately 950,000 square feet, with approximately 1,500 occupants. II: SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS: 1. The installation of hot water and glycol pumps and motors must meet all local, state, and federal plumbing codes. 2. The contractor shall remove 3 existing hot water pumps and motors. These pumps have a Max Work Pressure of 175, 1,750 RPM, 340 GPM, Head of 80’, and a 15 Horsepower motor. 3. The contractor shall furnish and install 3 hot water pumps and motors that have at least 20% more pumping capability than those removed in item # 2. 4. The contractor shall remove 2 existing glycol pumps and motors. These pumps have a Max Work Pressure of 175, 3,500 RPM, 380 GPM, Head of 115’, and a 15 Horsepower motor. 5. The contractor shall furnish and install 2 glycol pumps and motors that have at least 20% more pumping capability than those removed in item # 4.
