- BOTTOMLESS LAKES STATE PARK, SECTION 206 AQUATIC RESTORATION PROJECT, ROSWELL, NEW MEXICO. This acquisition is a total HUBZone set-aside. Only offers from qualified HUBZone small business concerns that appear on the list of Qualified HUBZone Small Businesses maintained by the Small Business Administration will be accepted. Offers received from concerns that are not certified by the SBA to participate in the HUBZone program shall be considered non-responsive and will be rejected. NAICS is 237990/SIC 1542, with a size standard of $31,000,000.00. The magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 - $5,000,000. Bonding will be required for this acquisition. Bidders attention is directed to Section 00100 in the Solicitation for information regarding the tour of the site. Plans will be issued on or about 9 August 2008, with bid opening on or about 8 September 2008. Bidders are advised that this requirement may be delayed, cancelled, or revised at any time during the solicitation, or final award process, and is subject to the availability of funds. THE PROJECT purpose is to restore approximately 43 acres of wetland habitat near Lea Lake within Bottomless Lakes State Park. This project will place two (2) concrete box culverts under State Highway 409, construct riprap lining, place approximately 80 linear feet of Trilock, shape 2,000 feet of trapezoidal earthen channel, remove exotic salt cedar, remove solid waste debris, place 1,500 linear feet of Trex boardwalk with three Trex viewing platforms, create and shape three (3) open water ponds within the existing wetlands, plant wetland vegetation, construction a 0.5 acre gravel parking lot and construct approximately 1,400 linear feet of gravel 6-foot wide walking trail. THE PROJECT will be advertised as an Invitation For Bid. Proposed Procurement will result in a firm fixed price contract.
